Yes, all those are all great lessons, but how do they relate to UNITED STATES HISTORY? I love TZ, don't get me wrong....just don't see the connection to US history.

There's the TZ about the history teacher who knows so much rich detail about the Civil War, because he actually lived through it -
"LONG LIVE WALTER JAMESON".

And there's the one about the 3 20th century soldiers who discuss the Battle of Big Horn, and end up joining Gen. Custer...
"THE 7th IS MADE UP OF PHANTOMS".

In "BACK THERE" a man tries to prevent the Lincoln assaination, and in "NO TIME LIKE THE PAST" a time traveller is unable to change various disasters and so he decides not to stop the Garfield assasination, and ends up starting the Chicago fire of 1881 instead... an episode with many events in US history!

Peripheral ones include "THE ENCOUNTER" which argues aspects of Pearl Harbor, "STATIC" about an antique radio that broadcasts past history and entertainment, and "THE CHANGING OF THE GUARD" if only because it looks at the value of a teacher's relationship with his pupils...
